We arrived an hour before closing time to satisfy a sudden craving for shellfish. We were greeted warmly, though somewhat surprised. It was a good experience; the shellfish were very tasty and fresh. The only thing I could have improved is if I'd arrived earlier to enjoy it a bit longer (note that we weren't in any hurry at all; we were the ones who rushed so as not to disturb anyone). I'll be back, either to eat in or take away.

What can I say about this restaurant where you feel at home in a family atmosphere, whether it's the boss's or the staff's side. Coming to Marseille and not stopping by the L'ecailler canteen is like visiting Paris and not going to the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. The products are ultra fresh, the atmosphere very warm and friendly. I recommend this little restaurant to seafood lovers, you won't be disappointed.

14/12/2024: I came with my partner via reservation on December 14, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Top cuisine with top-notch service, the restaurant is great, the products are fresh and it's rare to find shellfish of such good quality! On the other hand I only gave 3 not for the restaurant, but unfortunately we were next to two couples who were very unpleasant, homophobic and on top of that we only heard them when they said things that no one was supposed to hear. I had planned to have a platter like the previous one + dessert, but that ruined our appetite. And of course I left with a bit of an upset mood. If I came back, I would ask for a quieter, more secluded table. Obviously if I come it is to enjoy and have a good time with my partner but in the end quite the opposite. Otherwise the team is good and super professional. To see for next time perhaps. Good luck.
