La Cantine Merci sur Paris

Excellent welcome, discovery of very good spring rolls, friendly place

My visit was very mixed. The store is fantastic and the products are superb, but I noticed that the jeans I was about to buy had a defect in the fabric (like a snag). I still wanted to buy them and asked if they could offer me some kind of compensation: they told me no. I went back to the store the next day and found the item still on the shelf with its significant defect. I asked another sales assistant again, who also said no and put the jeans back on the shelf. I don't understand the reasoning: are they going to let someone buy a damaged item when it's been pointed out twice? For my part, I'm still happy to have the defective item :)

A place filled with inspiration and cherished objects

Everything was so pretty it was hard to resist. Tax refund available. I bought several eco-bags, ranging from mini to regular sizes, as gifts for friends and family. I should have bought more... There are many pretty things in the basement as well, so be sure to look around every floor. The staff were friendly. There were many Koreans. I had a wonderful time.

I love Merci, one of my favorite shops in Paris. The selection is original, refined, and full of charm, and I was delighted with all my purchases during my last visit. Just one small drawback: a beautiful leather bag whose dye, unfortunately, wasn't perfectly set and left a few marks on a white shirt. These things can happen, even with beautiful products. But it's especially how a store reacts to this kind of problem that makes all the difference. And here, I want to give a special thank you to Marie from customer service. She was absolutely remarkable: attentive, kind, patient, and generous with her time, personally handling my case with great professionalism and courtesy. She ultimately found a very satisfactory solution, even though I live abroad. It's a real pleasure to discover that a boutique that you love so much for its products also places such importance on its customers. A huge thank you to Marie and the entire Merci team. I will gladly return during my next stay in Paris!
