We had a lovely time. Having not yet finished our visit to the Musée de l’Imagerie in Épinal, we stopped for a meal at this restaurant and were delighted. The salads were good and the children's menu was excellent value for money. We're glad we discovered this place. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive.

Three stars because the food and setting are quite nice, however, the service unfortunately didn't live up to the establishment's standards. A lack of smiles and energy became irritating. A large table with an aperitif without peanuts despite our requests…

The food is good, however, the cleanliness is a concern. We had a raclette grill, and it was dirty; there was a thick layer of dust where the pans rest. We were served by what was clearly a new employee who seemed very uncomfortable. I understand they're just starting out, but there are certain basic skills one should know. The manager was friendly and smiling, and the food was fine. Overall, we had a good time and will return.

25/05/2026: As residents of Épinal, we had never eaten at Le Commerce before, though we usually just came for drinks. 🍻 What a wonderful discovery: fresh ingredients, excellent dishes, and truly warm service. Prices are similar to other restaurants in Épinal, with the added bonus of a lovely terrace on Place des Vosges. A great place to stop for a meal. 🍽️😋
