La Carte du Boulanger sur Caen

On vacation at my daughter's, she introduced me to her neighborhood bakery, "Carrément Gourmand," whose pastries I wholeheartedly recommend. My absolute favorite was the "Courchevel"—wow, it was amazing! As we say in the south of France 😉 I won't go into detail, but rather invite you to discover it for yourselves 😋 The only problem for me is that, having never seen it anywhere else, I have to... wait for my next visit to my daughter's to enjoy it again 🥺 P.S.: The custard tart, the Paris-Brest, and the viennoiserie I also tried... were all equally delicious 😋 And a big thank you for the warm welcome and the lovely shop 🥰

What a pleasure to come to Carrément Gourmand. The bread is very good, a special mention for the sourdough bread on Friday, it's crazy. The flan is to die for, and I'm very critical about it. I've tried many of them. The vanilla is very present, the puff pastry is crispy and soft at the same time, truly a dessert not to be missed. The Easter chocolates are also delicious with the chocolate-hazelnut praline center ❤️ The welcome is always friendly and cheerful. The sale of great apple juice is also a real plus for a truly gourmet breakfast or snack! Thank you.

The vanilla flan is creamy, the vanilla is sweet and the pastry light. Excellent 😍

Stopped by chance to get some sandwiches and we left with several pastries. The quality is there and the homemade very appreciable! Special mention for your flan to die for ++++. Bravo to your whole team.

We ordered a fraisier, a Paris-Brest, and a Royal for a family celebration. The pastries were excellent. Young and old alike enjoyed them.

When I see the shine of the icing on the éclairs, I know I'm dealing with an excellent pastry chef... And after tasting a few loaves of bread, I know I'm dealing with an excellent baker... I'm lucky to be a neighbor of these talented artisans... bravo!
