La Casa Tropical sur Chartres

Having grown accustomed to Caribbean cuisine, we were disappointed; it was good, but not up to the standard we're used to at home. We thank the waitress for her kindness.

First time at Casa Tropical and definitely not disappointed! The waitress was very welcoming and friendly. Excellent meal. Warm atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

First restaurant I tried in Chartres and I wasn't disappointed. I had a chicken bokit and the chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious, which is great considering how often I eat it. The staff were also friendly. The decor is fantastic, it's very immersive. I'll definitely be back before the end of my trip.

A very nice atmosphere, just like in the Caribbean. The menu is a delight for the taste buds. I was lucky enough to have tasted most of the dishes because I went there every week when I lived in Chartres. The owner, John, is very warm and attentive. He is always in a good mood and knows how to set the mood. An exceptional person that I really appreciate with human qualities. The music is good and you can dance there even if it is a small dance floor. There are also theme nights. A must-visit place in Chartres if you like to eat well, have a drink and dance while feeling like you are in the Caribbean.

Having not been back for four years due to a professional move, we had the pleasure of returning to Casa Tropical. The owner is still as welcoming and the food as delicious as ever. A waitress came to complete the picture from back then, super friendly, to top it all off. We recommended it four years ago, and we recommend it just as much now. Go there without fear; a pleasant experience is in store.
