The atmosphere is that of a truck stop, no doubt about it, a very working-class place.
The only slight drawback is the quality of the food and its presentation; it could be improved. (See photo)
31/07/2024: We stayed 21 to 27 July. Our first stay at this hotel. A lovely hotel in an old manor house. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom modern and spotless. The meals were superb cooked to order using fresh local produce. Meat dishes were cooked on a wood burning fire in the dining room. Exceptional standards at this hotel run by people who care
