La Champa sur Caen

We had a delightful time at this Thai restaurant. A big plus for the vegetarian options, which are rare and much appreciated. We started with a sharing platter as an appetizer, perfect for discovering a variety of flavors. The dishes were refined, flavorful, and true to the authentic tastes of Thai cuisine. And what about the dessert? A green melon with a coconut-jasmine sauce: fresh, fragrant, a real treat to end the meal on a high note. A place to remember for a truly delicious and successful experience!

A wonderful discovery in Caen, our first ever! A truly authentic Thai/Khmer restaurant. The menu is simple, but everything is cooked on-site, spiced to the customer's liking. My Thai wife and I rediscovered the aromas and true flavors of Thailand. The welcome was warm and efficient, with a smile. The wine list is good, though a bit short; it could benefit from at least one additional Côtes du Rhône red to complement the spicy dishes we ordered. We're eager to return soon to try other dishes.
