Fantastic experience at La Chaumière! We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. I highly recommend it!

The best dinner of our entire stay in Font Romeu. Delicious, delicate, sometimes surprising, but always perfectly balanced flavors. A delight for the taste buds. Thank you to the chef, thank you to Placida, and to all the service staff.

A restaurant with a very warm atmosphere, beautiful decor, and impeccable service. We had a delicious meal. A wood-fired rib steak with mashed potatoes and roasted eggplant. And to finish, the delectable chocolate candies with a molten center. A very friendly team; we will gladly return! See you soon!

We came here based on the Michelin Guide. What a fantastic experience. Given its location in the Pyrenees, the food was a great mix of French, Spanish and Catalan influence. And of great quality. The restaurant provided an amuse-bouche that was fantastic. We had the tomato bread and jamon. The jamon portion was incredibly generous and the bread and tomato was one of the best I’ve ever had - it’s a simple recipe but clearly when done well it can be unforgettable. We had the traditional tripe dish. It was so rich and flavourful. Amazing. It may be too rich for some people with a slight hint of spice but I recommend for everyone. The steak was flame grilled and had a strong bitterness flavour on the outside which my partner did not enjoy. I think some changes to how the meat is cooked may be worthwhile exploring but overall this place was outstanding.
