It's just perfect if I have to recommend a restaurant to you it's this one it deserves to be starred only small problem I had mega diarrhea that day but no big deal very good restaurant well done to the staff

We eat very well at La Chaumiere, generous portions, everything is fresh, just ask and they prepare the dish as you prefer, for example, with a sauce on the side, very fresh and very well-cooked fish... kindness and flexibility If you want something else, we come back every time we're on vacation.

Very good menu and good value for money, very warm welcome. It's worth a stop.

A great place, but a daily menu that would benefit from being updated. I regularly frequent La Chaumière restaurant, particularly for its daily menu at 17 euros, which, in my opinion, represents excellent value for money. The cuisine is generous, well-prepared, and you can feel the true craftsmanship in the dishes. In particular, the famous fisherman's pot, the star of the menu, is a success: tasty, well-seasoned, and made with quality ingredients. There's nothing to complain about in terms of taste or presentation, which are always spot on. However, if you want to come several times a month—especially for a regular weekday lunch—one problem arises: the daily menu has remained unchanged for years, with the fisherman's pot always offered as the main course. As good as it is, the repetition eventually becomes tiresome. The desire to return is hampered by this feeling of déjà vu, which somewhat detracts from the pleasure of discovery and the diversity one can expect from a lunch menu. This isn't to question the quality of the cuisine, but simply to suggest, in a constructive spirit, a slight variation: why not consider introducing a weekly or bi-weekly rotation in the dishes offered? For example, keep the fisherman's pot at the beginning of the week, and offer a different dish on Thursdays or Fridays. This simple adjustment would help build even more loyalty among regular customers, while also renewing interest in this menu. La Chaumière has all the qualities of a fine establishment: a pleasant setting, efficient service, and masterful cuisine. All that's missing is a little variety in the lunch menu to make it a place to return to with equal pleasure.

A great place with excellent food. A good atmosphere and a very friendly owner. No wonder it was again included in the 2025 Routard guide. A restaurant that I recommend.

Very, very good. We ate there yesterday. The daily menu was €17, starter, main course, dessert. We went there based on the various reviews on Google. The restaurant was full. The owner sat us at the only available table. I recommend it. You can go there with your eyes closed.

Restaurant not at all suitable for one person ♿️. (Entrance door, access to the restaurant through a new door, very narrow seating inside.) For all other services, excellent (just not enough vegetables). Bravo.👏👏
