La Chaumière sur Tournon-Sur-Rhone

Warm welcome, large and beautiful room with a clear view, in the heart of Tournon. Very well insulated from the outside, less from the inside.

I love this place. Perfectly situated near the huge parking lot on the river (they have their own parking space but it’s 600m away) it offers good old-fashioned comfort with a smile, even if you arrive somewhat grumpy after a long drive as I did. Bed super comfy, with supplemental square pillows on top of the armoire for those of us unused to bolsters. Tea and coffee and a kettle in the room.Dogs welcome for a small supplement. If you don’t want to lug your bags up too many flights, ask for a room on the first floor. If you choose to park under the trees get a disk from the tourist office nextdoor on which to indicate the time you arrived. If you get here Saturday evening you’ll wake up in the middle of a big open market that fills the quay on Saturday mornings.

Très très content d'être passé par là . Très ancien mais refait et cela est superbe, quand à la cuisine maison, un délice, les chambres avec une literie au top 👍

un hôtel très bien situé qui permet de profiter immédiatement des quais, du centre ancien de la ville, du château etc . Proche de la circulation mais fenêtres efficaces pour ne pas être gênés par cette circulation le jour. Pas de circulation la nuit. Restauration de grande qualité sur place. Autres possibilités de restauration de qualité aux alentours.
