La Chollerie sur Basseneville

We needed a change of scenery after a long day on the motorway. I stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, and we weren't disappointed. The food was good, and the service was friendly. It's also easy to get to from the motorway.

A very warm welcome awaits you at this roadside restaurant with its homemade dishes. Excellent value for money. Good wines and desserts are also available.

A renovated former roadside diner with a revamped menu. Excellent and generous portions of local dishes. A special mention for the apple sorbet drizzled with Calvados. A reasonable bill for the quality.

We stopped for lunch on our way to our holiday destination. An unpretentious, down-to-earth restaurant with a very warm welcome. The dishes are simple but perfectly prepared. What more could you ask for?

The Allies did not choose to land in Normandy for strategic reasons, but rather for the entrecôte with Camembert sauce at La Chollier.

Found this place by chance on the street. The menu is written on a chalkboard (a good sign). The food is very good, including desserts. The staff is friendly and helpful (one of the few places where they speak English).

Very nice lunch restaurant, very tasty and very affordable. The salad bar as a starter is really very good, including charcuterie and terrine.
