La Cigale de Timgad sur Mulhouse

Years go by, and after a post-Covid lull, Timgad is back in top form! The food and service are excellent. However, be aware of a few small details, such as the removal of little touches like the delicate crêpes that accompanied the delicious mint tea, or the small pieces of merguez sausage served with the aperitifs…

The service was very bad, especially from the waiter "Wael" who deliberately looked down on the guests and ignored them, and looked at us with contempt as if he was doing us a favor or giving us a good deed. Likewise, the waiter "Idris" deliberately followed the same approach as "Wael" in looking down on the guests, but he went further by refusing to speak to us in Arabic so as not to serve us. My advice to the restaurant management is to transfer "Wael" and "Idris" to any other department because they are tarnishing the reputation of the restaurant and conveying a bad image of it to the guests.

A wonderful experience of Moroccan gastronomy in a warm setting reminiscent of riads.

Having been accustomed to fine Moroccan cuisine, I noticed that the quality of some dishes was no longer up to par.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Such a beautiful restaurant and a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The food is delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere is elegant, warm and welcoming, and the service is excellent. Definitely a place I always return to when in Paris. Highly recommend!

A restaurant serving Moroccan food with a set menu. You can order according to your preferences. The harira soup was good and well-balanced (4/5). The lamb and prune tagine was good and the meat was cooked perfectly (4/5). The chicken and olive tagine was average (3/5). The desserts were 3/5. The Moroccan tea was excellent. The service was 5/5. The most important thing about the restaurant is that it has air conditioning.

The food was excellent, the service was great too, and Hamza was very respectful and his manner was very classy.

Honestly, the atmosphere is Moroccan, and the food quality, cleanliness, service, and hospitality before and after the meal are all excellent. 🤝👍 (The employee Hamza was amazing, may God bless him!) The order included one harira soup, grilled couscous, and a chicken tagine with lemon and olives.
