La Cigale, France sur Avignon

Located a little off the beaten path, which allows for a quieter setting, a lovely place to eat simply with very good value for money.

We were very warmly welcomed with our two dogs. The waiter was incredibly friendly, which was a real pleasure! We ordered two Caesar salads: excellent. Thank you!

A warm welcome, a generous and excellent summer salad, sublime high-end ice cream and sorbet, and great value for money, plus a misting system under the parasols during this heatwave... I highly recommend it.

Nicely situated on a small square. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Service is fast, neat, and as it should be. On the terrace, they have those nice misters that keep the temperature down a bit. The kids' menu is more than sufficient. (Even for an adult). The hamburger is fine, but in my opinion, it had a bit too much sauce, making it a bit soft and soggy. The Caesar salad is fine.

FOOD: Breakfast is excellent. Fresh orange juice. SERVICE: Very friendly. ATMOBILE: The terrace is practically on the street, with a view of the cathedral.

A very pleasant café-restaurant, the staff are lovely, and the dining room is a nice bonus. All this at a reasonable price for Avignon. A great place to recommend :)
