27/09/2026: Easily one of the best restaurants in Avignon. Elevates five star quality food at totally reasonable prices. Complete service and wine (one glass each) for under €100. The hostess is amazingly receptive, efficient and professional and handles all the responsibilities of service (except cooking) with ease and perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable without being pretentious. The menu offers three options of main-starter-dessert combinations; we tried the beetroot with goat cheese starter. Exceptionally smooth and delicious cheese. Beautiful plating worthy of any expensive big city French restaurant. Ditto on the mains. Exceptionally well sized portions of duck breast and pork medallions with amazing sauces, veggies and mashed to die for. And dessert was apple cheesecake with amazing crumble and smooth whipped texture. As good as dessert gets. Definitely our best meal in Provence and one of our best in our travels through France. Highly recommended.

20/08/2026: Sorry, but very disappointed. I've been a regular customer for several years, but this time the meal was appalling. The Wiener schnitzel was as thin as a shoe sole, served at the same time as the starter. The service was mediocre, and to top it all off, no apologies despite our complaints. The bill came to €78 for two. It's a shame; you've lost one or more customers.

23/09/2026: This place fully deserves its excellent reviews, not a big selection, but what there is, then it’s absolutely lovely food. I have never tasted such a good chicken salad before and the lady serving was excellent. Even the local dog who I let try some chicken had to be dragged away as he was waving for more. Delightful place and will visit when I come back to Avignon again.

20/09/2026: Excellent Japanese and Korean restaurant! The maki and California rolls are generously filled and flavorful, and the Korean barbecue has a delicious marinade. The gyoza sauce is also very good. It's really nice to be able to give feedback and chat after the meal; you can tell your opinion matters to these passionate food lovers who are eager to share new flavors with you by recommending other dishes for future visits! The service is very quick and friendly. I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant is very popular! One thing is for sure, I'll be back to try the rest of the menu! ✨

19/09/2026: We had ramen, salmon salad and cold sake. Every thing is good. Although we came late but we did not have to wait long. The staff is friendly and suggested us some of the good choices. The food is tasty and salad is fresh. Price is reasonable. Good location in the center of Avignon.

24/09/2026: A lovely discovery on a Thursday evening. The service is discreet and very pleasant. The dishes are homemade and served by the chef. I recommend the authentic Troyes andouillette sausage with Chaource sauce and the conchiglie pasta with truffles. I will definitely return.

30/07/2026: The restaurant's setting is nice, however, the older woman wasn't very welcoming. Since we were there as a group, when it came time to pay I heard her say, "They're bothering us, they'll pay one by one," which I found quite inappropriate. Especially since we had ordered a pizza that took an hour to arrive, was made with non-homemade dough, and had a cardboard-like texture. On the plus side: the younger waitresses are very welcoming, smiling, and provide pleasant service. In short, I don't recommend the pizzas, which aren't great, and the older woman's behavior really needs improvement.

26/09/2026: Absolutely amazing dinner from start to finish! The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding. We started with the Burgundy escargots in garlic butter and herbs, and they were incredible—rich, buttery, garlicky, and exactly what you hope for when ordering escargot in France. For my main course, I had the Avignon-style beef daube, and it was fantastic. The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—one of those dishes that feels like true Provençal comfort food. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was charming, and the wine was wonderful. Everything about our evening at La Fourchette was memorable. One of our favorite meals of the trip and absolutely a restaurant we would return to when we’re back in Avignon. Highly recommend!

23/09/2026: We had dinner here and it was phenomenal!! Probably some of the best food we have ever eaten. My husband had the beef and I had the veal and we shared the escargot. The meat was so succulent, rich and full of flavor! The staff were very kind and professional. Highly recommend!!

22/07/2026: I made the mistake of ordering the Pad Thai without letting the waiter know that I wanted it with some spice and ooomph- and it tasted good but not exceptional. Later, a regular placed the same order with request for some flavor and it came out looking as you would see it on the streets of Chiang Mai. I was tempted to ask for taste. Also got the sticky rice with mango, which is always a treat, and a Thai Iced tea, which surprisingly isn’t always on offer in France. Service was great.

We were served quickly as there weren't many people there that evening (the mistral wind was blowing, but we decided to stay on the terrace). And the price-quality ratio was quite good considering the current economic climate. I can't wait to go back! 😋
