La Clairière sur Chambon-Sur-Dolore

This was my second visit, and I can tell you I wasn't disappointed. When you're craving good food made with quality local ingredients, you have to stop and relax at this restaurant. This time I ordered a nectarine spread. Forget about dieting and indulge in a little treat, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done to the team!

A lovely hotel and restaurant nestled in the heart of the charming little village of Chambon-sur-Dolore, surrounded by nature and offering absolute tranquility. The homemade ice cream is excellent; don't hesitate to stop by if you're in the area 🍨

We had dinner at La Clairière restaurant as a family, with our three children, and were delighted with the experience and the attentive service from the patient and very kind waitress. The portions were generous, and children's portions were available. The dishes were authentic. We'll be back to try the desserts!

A very pleasant time shared by eight people. The dishes were very generous and beautifully presented in a friendly atmosphere. Everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert. I highly recommend it.

The food is good, it's a shame that the welcome at 12pm in the restaurant this time was rather impolite, especially for a table of 10 people who have been coming back several times over the past few years!

A memorable stay at this hotel-restaurant located in a charming little village. The welcome is warm and discreet. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the food is delicious! I should add that the owner, with infinite thoughtfulness, returned an item I'd left in my room that I hadn't even asked for! She managed to find my address since I hadn't booked the room myself, and the package arrived at my home a few days later. This attentiveness is a true reflection of the establishment.

Excellent value for money! You can feel the joy of sharing in every little detail. The food is generous and delicious, the rooms are extremely clean and functional. Nothing to add except a huge thank you and well done!

Being there with a women's DN1 cycling team, I received a very warm welcome. The entire establishment was incredibly attentive to athletes, accommodating our somewhat unusual early morning departure times. A reserved space in the parking lot allowed us to park the van with the bikes and do maintenance in the evening. Exceptional, let's start there. The hotel rooms are exactly what you'd expect in this category of establishment: clean, well-appointed, and set in a rural environment—ideal for a break surrounded by nature. Now, let's talk about food. I recommend a good hike beforehand to fully appreciate the menu, from appetizer to dessert. Truly homemade, with a chef who takes excellent care of his guests and speaks passionately about his ingredients, most of which are locally sourced. We had a fabulous evening.
