12/09/2026: Passing through Mont-Dore for a solo hiking weekend, I had a wonderful evening at A Casa Nostra. A truly delightful discovery: the Sancy pizza was excellent, as was the crème brûlée to finish the meal. 😋 Special mention also goes to the team, who were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive… even introducing me to Diet Coke on the waiter's recommendation! 😄 I came alone, but I certainly didn't feel lonely. A warm atmosphere, a superb team, and above all, a delicious meal. Thank you for this lovely evening; I will gladly return on my next trip to Mont-Dore! 🙏

20/08/2026: A rare and unforgettable moment: Auvergne beer with chestnut and gentian, hearty homemade regional cuisine (baked Saint-Nectaire cheese, sautéed potatoes, cured ham, sausage, salad: a generous and delicious portion), a good red wine from the Languedoc region by the glass, blueberry-raspberry tart, Velay verbena liqueur as a digestif... all served by a dynamic and smiling all-female team in a convivial dining room! The inn is currently brilliantly run by a young woman representing the third generation. Bravo and thank you! Just remember to book well in advance, as the place is very well-known and deservedly so. Next door, there's also a small shop offering homemade, local products (cured ham sliced ​​or in pieces, cheeses, sausages, pâtés in jars) as well as various handcrafted items (solid sheep's milk soaps and shampoos; wooden vases).
