La Closerie sur Claye-Souilly

We had dinner this evening, and I must say it was flawless, despite a slightly slow start. The food was delicious and plentiful. The intimate atmosphere perfectly suited the charm of a summer evening. A special mention goes to Maylis, who was absolutely delightful to my mother and me, and above all, offered excellent advice throughout the evening.

A wonderful discovery! The terrace is beautifully shaded by trees, and the food is excellent. We had octopus, which was delicious, with olive oil, grilled peppers, and potatoes; flavorful paella; Portuguese wine; and a perfect pavlova with red berries! The servers were very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

This isn't my first dinner at La Closerie, but it is my first time dining on the terrace. The terrace is beautiful and spacious. The waitresses are professional and very friendly. The food is consistently excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The atmosphere is warm and calm; customers chat, but not so loudly that you can't hear yourself think, which is very pleasant. (I was expecting sardines, as they were on the menu on their website, but they were no longer available, so I was a little disappointed at the time. However, the replacement dish was delicious, so just remember to update the menu to avoid any disappointments 😉😊) Thank you for this lovely evening. See you very soon!

My friend wanted to introduce me to this restaurant, and I'm so glad she did! The food is excellent and refined. My husband is still talking about his delicious dessert! The servers, though few in number, remained professional and friendly. The only downside was the wait. We spoke with the owner, who explained that the dishes are prepared to order, which I completely understand. However, we waited 45 minutes before our order was even taken. It might be a good idea to take drink orders at least ten minutes after seating customers. That way, the time would seem to pass more quickly with a drink in hand! My friend has been four times and told me the wait was always the same. For me, that's really the only thing that could be improved, because otherwise, it's perfect! I'll definitely come back to try it again, with pleasure! Carole

Always a very warm welcome and impeccable cuisine

A lovely establishment with expertly prepared Portuguese-inspired cuisine. The waitstaff is young, friendly, and very professional. We had a very pleasant time. I highly recommend this establishment.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times. We've always had a great meal and received excellent service. Last night, I proposed to my partner at this restaurant, and the entire team was incredibly attentive and caring. A lovely place to eat, whether as a couple or with friends.
