La Cochonaille sur Colmar

24/08/2025: Biggest draw for us on a 34C blazingly sunny day last week as a group of six (including a child) was the price plus Google ratings. The parlour itself is just a small unassuming window and easy to miss if not for the crowds in front. The price per scoop is amazingly affordable depending on the flavour <€2+. Excellent value for delicious, super-generously sized portions in a cone. The ice cream is made locally, and this reflects in the creamy yet refreshing quality which is certainly very good. Not sickly sweet or artificial tasting. Almost on par in taste with some great well-rated ice cream parlours around Covent Garden, London, but at a fraction of the price. Worth the queueing. The popularity is justified. Would seek it out if ever revisiting Colmar.

19/08/2025: Had a delicious ice cream in Colmar. You get a lot for the price compared to other countries. Definitely recommended!
