28/09/2026: Rounded up from 4.5 stars. The staff were exceptional (it appeared to be a 4 person team across the kitchen and front of house). Lovely food, fantastic wine, and I really enjoyed the ethos of the place. The latter is perhaps reflected in the price of this restaurant not being cheap. I managed to squeeze in as a solo diner without a reservation. I have at times in Colmar/Alsace not felt the service was particularly good, especially as a solo diner, but here it was great. I really appreciated the great descriptions of the wine in particular in English. I had three courses, with wine pairing. Lovely touches with a small appetiser and with the bill.

25/09/2026: It was quite good. I can't say the food was impressive, there were no gastronomic surprises, but it was a good dinner. The staff (a female waiter and a male sommelier) were pleasant and professional. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Unfortunately, there was no hot dish available from the already small menu (and the choice was essentially just two options: fish and venison), so the already limited selection was narrowed down to just one dish.

06/09/2026: A small, secluded bar tucked away in a little alley, perfect for a drink and relaxation! Valentin gave us excellent advice on Alsatian wines, and Aurélien delighted us with his wonderful sharing platters! Thank you to them both, and don't hesitate to go if you want to have a great time.

06/09/2026: I came with friends and we discovered this little bar, tucked away in a quiet street. We were hungry and wanted a drink – and it turned out to be the best bar of our entire trip to Colmar! They have great platters for sharing, and the owners were very welcoming and nice!

03/10/2026: Flambée, an Alsatian pizza, has a thin, crispy crust and is delicious. The shop is on the smaller side, but the owner is really friendly.

18/08/2026: Beautiful setting. Perfect service. Pleasant interaction. The value for money, however, wasn't great in my opinion. The food was rather ordinary but expensive. The menu offered a fish tartare, but what arrived was a slightly dry terrine with mayonnaise and salad. We expected something different. The meat was expensive and nothing special. The prices are high for what it is. Overall, I was satisfied.

06/09/2026: Anyone visiting Colmar absolutely MUST eat at "Chez Kuna". Reservations are recommended, or you can simply show up when they open 😉 They serve Balkan cuisine, which tastes so wonderful there – 5 stars aren't enough! The value for money is unparalleled in Colmar – simply amazing. The staff is relaxed, incredibly friendly, and always up for a laugh.

13/09/2026: Super easy online booking. Excellent dishes (pâté en croûte, Angus beef, and vol-au-vent). Top-notch service! We highly recommend this location, which is far from the tourist traps of the city center. A unique character, exceptional cooking juices... quite a surprise considering how busy Colmar is. Restaurateurs still take the time to serve quality food with welcoming staff!

12/09/2026: We had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant and the couscous was delicious. We received a very warm welcome, and the owner even offered us a small cake to go with our mint tea. We highly recommend this restaurant.

08/09/2026: I came last month. I had the brunch menu with a savory dish, a sweet dish, and a drink. I had a bao bun, which was very good with a slightly spicy sauce. For dessert, I had a granola bowl, which was fresh, tasty, and filling—I loved it! I also had an orange juice. I recommend it.

20/09/2026: A warm and welcoming restaurant with excellent service. I love the "homey" atmosphere. We had onion soup, sauerkraut, and baeckeoffe, followed by apple crumble and brownie for dessert. Everything was delicious! Thank you, I highly recommend it.
