La Couronne d'Or sur Leymen

Everything was perfect. We were greeted with a smile, and the service was very fast. Despite a table of nine with different dishes, we were all served at the same time. The meal was excellent and generous. A special mention goes to the waitstaff, who were exceptional in their kindness, humor, and helpfulness. We had a wonderful time.

This is a legitimate first class restaurant! And boy, it’s great value for money!! The food is also very good and never disappoints! and unlike the other villages nearby, the restaurant is located in Leymen, France 🇫🇷. This means you can use the euro! 💶 this is great because other villages in the area are Swiss and only accept Swiss franc.

What a magical evening at La Couronne d’Or! I celebrated my birthday there last night, and everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The organization, the warm welcome, the stunning glass-roofed atrium where the party took place… everything exuded passion and professionalism. There were 19 of us, with different menus, and yet everything flowed seamlessly: generous, refined dishes, attentive service, tastefully chosen wines, and mouthwatering desserts. Nothing was left to chance! My guests were amazed, captivated, delighted—and I was overjoyed. I had an absolutely delightful birthday evening on every level. A huge thank you to the entire team at La Couronne d’Or for their kindness, their smiles, and their professionalism. Extraordinary servers, a talented chef, and an atmosphere that warms the heart. Even the tram ride to Leymen heightens the anticipation – it almost feels like a little gourmet pilgrimage. 🍂 Upon arriving at La Couronne d’Or, you're greeted by a concise, seasonally inspired menu – not an overabundance, but a thoughtful selection. As befits its status, I opted for the venison 🦌 – game season demands it! For the starter, I had a salad with walnuts and Roquefort – a wonderfully well-rounded combination that immediately won me over. Prices? Perfectly reasonable. Quality? Absolutely convincing. Verdict: Golden crown, golden cuisine – I'll definitely be back! ✨

A very good surprise menu with outstanding service and value for money. A very pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere. I'd be happy to return.
