We were allowed to eat despite the late hour. It was well after 2 pm. Thank you.
We had a very good meal. Beautiful presentation, very generous portions.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend this establishment.

Fantastic welcome and excellent food. We tried the seafood sauerkraut, the fisherman's stew, and the ribeye steak—everything was absolutely delicious and generous. Very reasonable prices, including drinks.
Go without hesitation!

My thoughts on IØ: La Courtine! I went there once, and it was very good despite a slight issue with the service. Since then, I've returned several times, and it's definitely excellent: it's even become one of our favorite places on Oléron! No more issues with the service, the staff is attentive and pleasant, the welcome is warm, the chef is as inspired as ever, the management is kind, and the prices are very reasonable.
It's our go-to place to unwind when arriving on Oléron.
Payment is made in the "L'Atelier" shop (souvenirs/wines/oysters) which is connected to the restaurant. "L'Atelier" will be reviewed separately.
I love this place: a five-star experience!

If you're passing near the citadel, don't miss this place. A warm welcome and fast, impeccable service—no need to ask for bread or water. The meal was excellent, with very good quality ingredients and generous portions for a very reasonable price. It was very hot on the 15th, but thankfully the dining room was air-conditioned. I understand why your customers are regulars, and if we didn't live so far away, we would be among them.

We came one evening and had a wonderful meal. It was really delicious, the flavors were spot on. A small tip: the fries were a little too small. Apart from that, everything was excellent. The value for money is definitely there!
