An excellent dinner in Crete! We ate incredibly well, and the portions were generous and the prices very reasonable! We recommend ordering lots of appetizers to share; it's a festival of flavors!!! The moussaka was also very good. The setting is welcoming, nicely decorated, and spacious without being too noisy, even when it's busy, which is quite an achievement. Plus, the restaurant staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. We'll be back! 🥰

We had a wonderful time at La Crète restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. The service is very pleasant, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. We started with a sharing platter as an appetizer, perfect for discovering several flavors. For our main courses, we chose the moussaka, the lamb sauté with figs (a "grandmother's specialty"), and the chicken breast skewers: all flavorful, generous, and well-prepared dishes. We only ordered one dessert because we were already quite full: the baklava. Personally, I tried it; the texture and taste were true to the original, but it's still a rather sweet pastry—I wasn't particularly taken with it, even though it remains a must-try specialty. A very pleasant experience, with generous portions and a warm welcome. I highly recommend it.
