Excellent experience at La Criée; we ate very well despite arriving at the last minute. The service was excellent. I love the smiling waiters. It makes you want to come back.

The restaurant is clean and the service is really good: efficient and pleasant. It's a shame the food isn't up to the same standard. I ordered the sea bream with fries. Unfortunately, it was the low point of the meal: the fish was very dry, overcooked, and the sauce (which wasn't very interesting) wasn't enough to redeem it. The fish and chips was cooked properly and tasted alright, but the frying oil was a bit too strong. Finally, the French toast was decent, quite tasty, but it lacked a bit of lightness and texture (a little too soggy). In short: a good front-of-house team, but some adjustments are needed in the kitchen.
