La Criee sur Chevilly-Larue

My partner and I have been going to La Criée in Chevilly-Larue for over 30 years. The food is always of very high quality, and this is the first time we've experienced such disastrous service. We arrived around 7:30 pm. While our order was taken quickly, the first signs of service didn't appear until half an hour later, after we had to insist when we asked for our aperitif, which was finally served 15 minutes later. We received our starter an hour after our arrival and our main course half an hour later. We had to insist on getting butter, but the small spoons for our seafood platter were never provided. We asked for our bill and were given the bill from the next table. After a final correction to our bill (for wine we hadn't ordered), we paid, and it was over 10:30 pm. We are rather disappointed with the quality of the service. Our evening was somewhat spoiled, especially considering it was my partner's birthday.

Friendly atmosphere, impeccable service. The brandade is to die for. All February long, there's a special offer: all-you-can-eat mussels and fries. Finish with the floating island; it's delicious 😋
