A warm and welcoming place that reminded me of the Auberge de l’Abbaye my grandmother ran in Bourg Achard, both in terms of the architecture and the quality of the cuisine. Each dish has its own visual appeal, texture, and flavor, all executed with finesse and subtlety. Louis Delestre is a talented chef; don't hesitate to treat your taste buds at La Croix d’Or!

We went for lunch at La Croix d'Or on Sunday with 20 people and it was pure bliss. The welcome was very friendly, the waitress was smiling, and the meal was worthy of a top chef. We were very happy with the experience and will be returning in March. I highly recommend La Croix d'Or, according to Louis.

We used to come to La Croix d’Or, and it was already a good place, but since this young restaurateur took over, it's even better! You can immediately feel a new energy and a real desire to do things well. The welcome is warm, and the quality of the food has reached a new level: it's fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. It's a real pleasure to see a young person investing so much time and effort in revitalizing a local establishment with such high standards. If you were familiar with the previous version, I highly recommend going back to experience this new lease of life. It's an excellent restaurant in Pavilly that we wholeheartedly recommend. Congratulations on this very successful takeover; we will be back with great pleasure!

We arrived at La Croix d’Or, nestled in the Pays de Caux countryside, a few kilometers from the motorway, in a village that is both unspoiled and vibrant. It was market day, which added even more charm and authenticity to our visit. The building, typically Norman and steeped in history, already hinted at a wonderful experience. Inside, we discovered a serene and elegant setting, tastefully renovated by Chef Louis. The atmosphere is warm without being ostentatious; we immediately felt at ease. As for the cuisine, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fresh produce. The dishes were beautifully presented, the flavors precise and balanced. Another delightful surprise during the meal: an unexpected "trou normand" (a small glass of Calvados served between courses) that revived our appetites and enhanced our enjoyment of the meal. A thoughtful touch that fully contributed to the culinary experience. As for the service, it deserves special mention. The two young apprentices move with ease and natural grace, under the watchful eye of the restaurant manager. The management style is respectful and supportive, resulting in seamless service. The overall impression is that precious feeling of a restaurant where the customer is truly cared for—an attention that is sadly becoming increasingly rare. A place to discover for a genuine and expertly executed culinary experience.
