La Cuisine De Bubba sur Gorron

We've lived in France within 30km of Gorron for 20 years and never been here. Thought it was takeaway only until recently. Read the reviews and thought how can all of these people be wrong? And they're not. Excellent all round. Hostess and host superb with brilliant customer service and being very keen to ensure the customers have a great experience. Nice atmosphere and music that you can hear from our generation, so we're biased. And by the way, the food was excellent. Freshly made and nicely presented. We'll be back for sure. Make sure you book!

Do yourself a favour and visit La cuisine de Bubba! Amazing food (great value) excellent service, lovely atmosphere. And dog friendly to boot. We'll definitely be back.

We were looking forward to our first visit and as soon as we arrived we loved everything about this restaurant. Very welcoming, really lovely surroundings, excellent food. Thank you for a great evening.

Wonderful English hosts that bring people together. They know everyone in the town well and make great food. Fantastic atmosphere and food. I'm not big on taking photos of food, the only one I have is of the very polite cat who does not cross the threshold or enter the restaurant at all. 5 stars.

Great little pizza place a few metres from the main drag through Gorron. Pizzas made from scratch and fired in a proper wood burning oven are first rate with all the traditional and a few house specials. The chicken kebab is worthy of a special mention as rather than being in pitta bread, a pizza base is cooked blank until it 'pops' and is then shaped into a pocket. Looked and tasted delicious. We rounded it off with the homemade lemon cheese cake - light and full of flavour. Book ahead, because they're always, deservedly busy. I look forward to trying one of their curry nights.

I was lucky enough to visit this little gem with family and friends whilst holidaying. The staff are friendly, prompt and nothing is too much trouble. We had a good laugh and the atmosphere was brilliant. Although only small, there was plenty of space for my family of 6, my parents and our 2 friends plus 2 other tables inside and seating outside The food was like nothing id ever tasted before. Freshly made pizza in a pizza oven with toppings or a kebab made with pizza dough and lashings of chicken, salad etc (I'm going to have one of these next time I visit). It was delicious and I would definitely recommend!! Wish they were open all week (or maybe not as my bank balance wouldn't like it 😆)! The icing on the cake was Jo with her beautiful blue hair, 'bubba' with his singing and the waitress with her kind manners and impeccable fluency in French. Thank you for an amazing night - we WILL be back!
