Since my last review, I wanted to update it today after a family meal celebrating two birthdays, which we were able to enjoy in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere. Thanks to the patience of the staff and the owners, we were able to feast on one of the most delicious meals imaginable. So go ahead and enjoy it; it will be simpler than a long explanation.

Great restaurant: the food is very good and plentiful. I had the asparagus ravioli, which was excellent, truly, as well as the stuffed squid. The decor is lovely, the service friendly and efficient—in short, a great find.

Third visit to this restaurant. Very warm and peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful setting. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Generous portions at affordable prices. Very satisfied with the food and service. Good advice on wine selection. Reservations are recommended. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant and unique setting. Delicious, well-prepared cuisine with a varied menu. Very good wine to accompany the meal. The restrooms are a brilliant concept and well worth a visit.

I've been twice recently. The first time, everyone was served except me. I had to wait another half hour for my meal—the kitchen wasn't in any hurry to rectify their oversight. No one apologized for me eating my main course while my friends were ready for dessert! The second time, I ordered another medium-rare steak, and it was served raw inside, so I asked for it to be cooked a little longer! Rare is acceptable, but raw is not. No apology either. The place is pleasant, the prices are reasonable, but the food is mediocre and nothing special. They don't seem to care about customer satisfaction.

As a regular at this restaurant, I'm always satisfied with the daily specials (always featuring seasonal produce) and especially with the quality of the service, which is quick and friendly. As long as I'm here, I'll always come back with great pleasure. I highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect! My brother recommended this restaurant, and my husband and I were definitely not disappointed. Excellent dishes with plenty of choice (I guessed from our plates that everything was homemade), a beautiful setting (a stone building), a very warm welcome, and very reasonable prices (starter, main course, and dessert for €29 in the evening – cheaper at lunchtime, I believe). I recommend it 100%!

18/04/2026: Reservations were required, but the service was mixed. The dish of the day was perfectly cooked tuna. It's a shame the rice was cold.
16/03/2026: Excellent welcome, the waitresses and waiters were top-notch, pleasant and smiling, and the food was delicious.

16/05/2026: It's important to note that this hotel has been under new management since January 2026 and we recently had a lovely and relaxing 2 day stay here. The hotel is a gem which is currently being polished so there is a little room for improvement like a few more hooks in the bathroom but I'm confident these small changes will be made in time. The couple who are running it are warm, helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have all recently been tastefully redone, the beds and linens have all been replaced and the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The garden and pool area is lovely, with beautiful views I went for a swim in the pool and although a bit bracing at first (it is only May) it was gorgeous and big enough to swim proper lengths, there are plenty of sun loungers available to chill out around the pool or in the garden. The hotel is perfectly situated at the top of the village, there is plenty of parking (which contrary to earlier reviews is included). You won't need a car though if you are going into the village as the restaurants and potterys are within easy walking distance. We found the hotel a very calm and tranquil place to be in and the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful area, Uzés, Le Pont du Gard etc.
10/05/2026: A superb hotel in a quiet and peaceful location. Everything is tastefully done, from breakfast to the hotel's decor. The staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.
