Honestly, not great.
Two trout tarte flambées. Either they were both way overcooked, or just plain old but not good!
And we pointed it out, so we might as well not say anything... Dessert was fine.
But honestly, if tarte flambée is just going to be made with stale, crumbly bread, they shouldn't even be offered!

It's a real shame that this institution of the Ludovician culinary world is closing. Where will we find our tripe, calf's head, and other Alsatian specialties in the future? Best of luck to all the staff.

This is our favorite restaurant in Saint Louis, after requesting we were moved to the back room which is warmer, more friendly with an excellent authentic atmosphere. The food was very good and went perfectly with the music. All with quality service.

My feedback is based on several visits over the past few years (I'm not a regular, so no one recognized me). I felt welcome every time – every dish I tried was delicious, and the freshly tapped beer was always a treat. It just goes to show how wonderful we are in the Schengen area – I cross the border just to eat here. From the service to the chef, this place seems to be excellently run. I hope you have the same positive experience as me.

Overpriced for what it is. The prices have clearly become Swiss.
I ordered a very standard sauerkraut, the menu wasn't generous. The smallest dish is now €30 for truly standard cuisine, while the competition offers much better food at that price. I won't go there again. I told friends about my experience, who told me exactly the same thing. Overpriced, they won't go there either. Choose other restaurants in the area.

The price/quality ratio is lower than in 2022, 2023, and early 2024.
