I've been eating here for 20 years, and it's certainly changed. From the memories of Mario to today, with Morgan at the helm, I remain a loyal customer and keep up with the trends. Things evolve, and I still love coming here and finding myself completely transported, both by the atmosphere and the food. A Metz institution true to its values.

I ate at La Dolce Vita in Metz and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The mushroom ravioli were very flavorful and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The service was quick and efficient.
The only slight drawback is that the dining room is a bit cramped, which can sometimes make it feel a little small. However, the staff is friendly and welcoming, making for a pleasant experience. A great place to eat Italian food in Metz.

Pizzas with undercooked crust and almost no toppings. Luckily we were seated in a corner because those facing the entrance were crammed onto a large table in a draft and right in the middle of the walkway. How can they fit in as many tables as possible while providing such mediocre and underwhelming service?

The food is good, well-presented, and the prices are reasonable! The welcome is warm and friendly. The basement dining room is only moderately decorated and has a rather cold atmosphere.
The service is quick, a bit too quick… especially when we were presented with the bill without even being asked for it… and then asked to leave to allow the next seating to be prepared. We weren't informed of this practice, which is a shame because it detracts from the experience (having known the restaurant under the previous owner, this never happened).
