La Dolce Vita sur Metz

Excellent restaurant! We went as a group of four and everything went perfectly!

We had a reservation for 9:15 PM, but our drinks and food orders weren't placed until 10 PM. I ordered wine, but they didn't offer me a taste. A friend asked for a carafe of water, and they brought her a bottle of Vittel. The food arrived almost at 11 PM, and we had to ask for it. The service was disastrous, and to top it off, the waitress was unpleasant and disdainful. The food itself was very good, however, and the setting was lovely. When it came time to pay the bill, we received a half-hearted thank you and no "have a good evening"...

Nice terrace, good pasta. Just bothered by the service. I know it's not easy being a waiter, especially in the summer with so many people… but if you don't want to go to work, you should find another job. We were served mainly by a waitress who didn't even smile at us. She'd forgotten about us, but that can happen. She spoke in a rather disdainful tone… well, I guess she'd had a bad day. But all of this combined made for a bad first experience at this restaurant.

One Tuesday evening in summer, my partner and I were on the terrace around 8 pm, without a reservation. We were greeted immediately and seated at a table for two, without any waiting. We started with two appetizers: truffle arancini, generous portions, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, and a smoked stracciatella with focaccia, simply excellent. For wine, the rosé from Domaine Miraval (Brad Pitt) paired perfectly with the meal. For the main course, the meat arancini were again generous, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The oyster mushroom ravioli, fresh and clearly homemade, were of excellent quality. The service was impeccable: a perfectly paced flow between the aperitif, appetizers, and main courses, with attentive staff who were not intrusive. As night fell, the waiter even came to set up and adjust the small lamps on the tables—a simple touch that truly enhanced the experience. A truly excellent restaurant in Metz, with high-quality cuisine and a team that perfectly handles large groups. We will gladly return.

A wonderful discovery! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish, from the cocktails to the dessert. The service was quick, and the staff were welcoming, smiling, and very understanding. A place where you feel comfortable and where the food is excellent. We will gladly return!

We had a wonderful time thanks to the food and the service staff. Everything we ate – from the appetizer to the dessert – was absolutely delicious and perfectly executed. A huge thank you also to the servers who were incredibly kind, always smiling, and attentive to our needs despite the crowd. The major downside of the evening was the manager's attitude. It was unbearable to see her constantly yelling at her staff and disrespecting them in front of the customers. It's humiliating for the team, who do a fantastic job, and it completely ruined the otherwise warm atmosphere of the meal. The food is superb, and the servers are top-notch; they deserve much better than this toxic management.

Excellent! We dropped by unexpectedly and what a discovery 😍 The mushroom ravioli are incredible… and the pizza 🍕 is delicious, only quality ingredients 👍

Mmm, delicious!! The involtini with pasta was a real treat! We ordered a high chair and a children's menu with pasta in tomato sauce: everything was devoured. There weren't many desserts on the menu, but the tiramisu was very good and the chocolate praline mousse was excellent. We will definitely be back... thank you so much for the wonderful meal! 👍😋 See you soon.
