La Dorata sur Paris

Inexpensive Italian food, so very good.

At the corner of Rue Haxo and Rue Henri Dubouillon, there's a wood-fired pizzeria with a classic selection of generously sized pizzas. I opted for the Parmigiana (tomato sauce, eggplant, mozzarella, oregano, ham). The crust was soft, with slightly charred edges, typical of wood-fired cooking. However, the flavor lacked the burst of high-quality ingredients that I expected. I found the pizza bland. Furthermore, the ham was poultry, not pork, which obviously didn't give it the same taste. It's a shame you can't choose pork ham. The service was quick, the welcome was warm, and the location was quiet with an outdoor terrace.
