La Flambée sur Villers-Pol

We wanted to warmly thank the entire team for helping to make our mother's 70th birthday unforgettable. They guided us through the preparation of this wonderful surprise with great kindness, availability, and professionalism. Everything was perfectly organized, the welcome was warm, and the food was excellent. Thanks to them, we had a marvelous time as a family. A huge thank you to the whole team; we will gladly return.

A very pleasant surprise awaited us at La Flambée, a charming farmhouse with exposed beams and a fireplace for grilling meats. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. Meat lovers will be delighted with the Angus ribeye.

The food is good but overpriced for the quality; €33 for a veal medallion or quail is the price you'd find in Michelin-recommended restaurants. This place isn't up to that standard. In my opinion, it's overpriced by 20%. The wine selection by the glass is very limited, of poor quality, and served like in a brasserie. Two hours for a main course and a coffee at lunchtime, with only 15% occupancy, is an hour too long. The organization needs improvement. The overall experience falls short, and other restaurants would be a better fit for the price and time commitment.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant nestled near Le Quesnoy. The setting is both warm and bright, ideal for a romantic dinner or a family meal 😋 As for the food, it was flawless from start to finish: The main course: An incredibly tender flank steak, perfectly cooked and accompanied by crisp baby vegetables. A real treat for meat lovers. And to finish on a high note, the dark chocolate and hazelnut ganache cube was a pure delight, as beautiful to look at as it was delicious to eat. Visually, the presentation was worthy of a fine dining establishment. The service was attentive and the value for money was excellent. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Highly recommended! 👌✨
