Quite a mixed experience but overall probably the worst of our otherwise fantastic dinners during a week in Provence. The competition in the surrounding area is so fierce and we wished we had read more of the reviews (especially the most recent ones applying to the current menu). Also very surprised this restaurant was listed in the Michelin guide which is what brought us there in the first place and it really didn't live up to expectations.
We were welcomed by a nice cat and then sat on the outdoor terrace, which was pretty, although our particular table had a lot of flies around it (which we excused being in the countryside). I was not convinced by the wines. As far as the food, from the very beginning with the mises en bouche we thought things were a bit off...the chef clearly wants to be creative but we felt he missed the mark on a number of occasions, often with the balance thrown off (e.g. spicy or bitter) and with average presentation. My girlfriend was disappointed throughout but I had a bit more luck. The foie gras with strawberry sorbet was a first but actually quite nice. The meat main was also very well cooked and with a particularly interesting flavour, and came with a nice sauce and yoghurt but that was sort of slopped all over the place.
However the worst part by far was the cheese plate, with every one of the cheeses on offer tasting like a farmyard and therefore one-dimensional and inedible. We both huge cheese lovers and are used to many different sorts of cheeses but for the first time ever we had to leave our plates uneaten. When we mentioned this at the end the waitress said rather arrogantly that we should have chosen a different option, ending the evening on a low note and confirming many of the reviews complaining about the service.

Disappointment. I'm intrigued by new places, and that's why I visited this restaurant. It's a charming place, with a lovely exterior and a garden with some greenery, but it's a bit anonymous. The food is made with interesting ingredients, and the combinations are curious, but overall, they don't quite match. The waiters were smiling and kind, but they forgot the bread and brought the wrong dish... the glass of wine was good. The price was reasonable. I found a supplement for my dish that I hadn't seen or seen on the menu. I thought it was nice that they gave me some sweets to take home, perhaps to accompany the coffee we didn't order.

We went for lunch, reserved in advance. It was a fixed menu, the starters were delicious, half of us chose chicken as main dish and last minute, the waiter came and said he was mistaken, it was beef instead, which was ok for us. But unfortunately it was very disappointing, the beef was very tough and tasteless despite the sauce. We told about this to the other waiter and she blamed the chef. We couldn’t eat it at all. We would expect an apology or complimentary coffee but they just charged the whole price w/o an apology.

It absolutely doesn't deserve to be in the Michelin Guide, and we've reported it. We ordered different dishes, and they were all extremely messed up; the ingredients weren't respected, and they weren't good. The intention to create creative cuisine was clear, but the dish with yogurt, cherries, and meat was a complete failure because the flavors overlapped, and the meat became cold due to the yogurt. The same goes for the pigeon mixed with shrimp and the bisque: the death of the pigeon.
Absolutely not recommended; we skipped the cheeses for fear of being disappointed with that too.
Furthermore, you can't offer a set menu and then add one of the three dishes for a 12-euro surcharge.
