Lovely authentic little restaurant, menus are in French and Chinese so have a translator app if your language skills aren’t great. Good varied menu, and portion sizes are generous, for mains we chose duck with leeks and chicken, the meat was beautifully tender and full of flavour. Service was efficient but calm and prices spot on. A lovely experience all round, definitely worth a visit.

I don’t normally rate anything as I try to talk to the owners when it’s not great. BUT this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Bordeaux. We went to china in 2016 and loved it, this food is amazing and good value. We will be back to this place. Thank you for your wonderful service and hospitality.

The owner is very friendly and kind, the dishes are really very good and plentiful. Stuffed good! I recommend the chicken dish “宫保鸡丁” and the beef “铁板牛肉”, of course the one with eggplant also super good!

Very warm welcome even though it was late, then we enjoyed flavors that reminded me of those experienced in China. Plus it was plentiful, thanks to the owner for her smiles and to her husband in the kitchen!

Au bonheur du palais

15/09/2024: Cette adresse nous offre toujours un grand plaisir chaque fois que nous y allons. Et notre dernière visite n'a pas dérogé à la règle : bonheur complet ! Gentillesse du patron qui nous a même fait un petit concert perso à la fin de notre repas (nous étions les seuls dans la salle ce soir de semaine là). Cuisine géniale pleine de saveurs, d'originalité... Chaque plat nous est expliqué et on devine le travail qu'il y a derrière... Bonheur pour les yeux et les papilles ! C'est certes un peu cher pour de la cuisine chinoise, mais justement cette cuisine est totalement différente de celles qu'on a l'habitude de rencontrer. Il ne faut pas hésiter à y aller pour découvrir et se laisser porter par toutes les saveurs de cette cuisine géniale. Petit conseil : prendre le menu dégustation avec 3 entrées + 3 plats ! Pas de dessert (sur recommandation du patron) car les chinois n'en mangent pas... Superbe soirée ! Bravo et merci !

27/07/2024: Short stop in Bordeaux in this restaurant, the terrace was crowded in the middle of summer, we took the dining option and it was very nice. The service was fast and quality. No false note for the different dishes tasted. We tested the chicken padd Thai, the chicken and beef mie goren and the Kaï. Dessert of chocolate spring rolls and a scoop of ice cream. The value for money was okay.
