Yesterday we celebrated my mother's 100th birthday at La Fourchette. It was a very special day for us; 100 years old is a significant milestone! There were 19 of us, and we wanted to share how perfectly everything went. The staff were attentive, available, and provided excellent advice beforehand. They answered all our questions and offered suggestions. The meal was superb; we didn't get a chance to congratulate the chef on his Beef Wellington: bravo, it was simply perfect! The service was fantastic: a dedicated waitress was assigned to our table. Thank you for her remarkable efficiency, attentive to our every request, smiling, pleasant, and kind—we couldn't have asked for better! We lingered a little longer, and at no point did we feel it was time to leave, which isn't always the case in other restaurants when they have to prepare for the evening service. So, a huge thank you to the entire team for helping make this special day such a success.
A very good experience overall. I received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The starter and main course were both very good, but I was slightly less impressed with the dessert. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely return.
I've been a customer for a few years now and it's always a pleasure to go back. The food is excellent and the service is truly top-notch. Audrey's good humor and kindness are always present!
Overall positive:
- Very tasty meat and fish dishes
- Fresh vegetables
- Attentive staff
but…
- A few more appetizers would have been nice with the aperitif (slices of cake cut into cubes 😕)
- Less inviting decor than in the past
- Slightly small portions
- A bit pricey
