A honest working people's diner. Good, heavy duty food with plenty local options. Be warned: regional plates may be difficoult to translate, especially for Google; you may have... sourprises. Good ones (it seems to be quite hard to eat badly in France), but sourprises nevertheless. If you are a picky eater, you can put yourself in a risky position. Service is over the top (free water, cider, red wine; self-service cheese plate). The place is well-worn, and the owner salutes other clients with "see you tomorrow!". Most of them have a van parked outside, not a car. And the kitchen closes at 13:45 for a reason: everyone is back at work.
