Le Royal sur Avranches

This is the best bar I've ever been to! The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic, there's music, a friendly vibe, and people of all ages. I highly recommend it. Julie, the waitress, is especially wonderful with everyone, always smiling, and always there when you need anything. Don't hesitate to come and have a drink!

Having come to Avranches out of necessity, we stopped in the town center at the Royal restaurant. A very pleasant surprise! The €21 set menu included herring salad, salmon steak with leek fondue and rice cooked with julienned vegetables, and caramel tiramisu. My wife ordered the "Plafond du Terroir" (local specialties platter) with andouille sausage on a bed of apple compote and Camembert cheese. We even found Uny Colombard No. 3 white wine, which is rare! Everything was excellent: the staff were quick and friendly, the atmosphere cozy—nothing to complain about, just compliments. Don't hesitate, go there with your eyes closed!

The service was a bit slow, but the food was good. The table's location at the foot of the stairs and against a wall wasn't ideal for lunch.

A small, charming restaurant with a delicious menu. The service was exceptionally friendly, even though we couldn't communicate due to language barriers. It's worth a visit for a light lunch.

We made a short stop in Avranches, which allowed us to discover this little gem. The staff is very welcoming, the restaurant is warm and inviting, and the food is exceptional. We had the set menu, which was very good and very generous; I recommend coming hungry to eat there 😅. When we return, we will gladly stop by again. Thank you!
