It's pretty decent. Generally, when you come here, you know what to expect. The fries are good, everything else is average or even bad. Go for the fries, you won't regret it.

Having lived alongside Belgians during my childhood, this restaurant is an unexpected haven in the Haute-Garonne region.
The fries are cooked twice in beef fat, and they come with all the essential snacks and Belgian sauces. As for beers, they have Trappist beers, including Orval, which, despite its regulated production and export, is available, as well as the classic Jupiler for those who prefer a refreshing beer.
The price is reasonable; if you had to choose between this and McDonald's, you'll finally discover what real fries are.
The space isn't large, but it's very welcoming.
The service is attentive, and if you order takeout, the packaging is truly meticulous.
My only regret is not having discovered this restaurant sooner.

Typical Belgian cuisine. The steak tartare is amazing, the fries are good. The kebabs are excellent too. Generous portions. The owner runs the place single-handedly and manages it admirably. Warm welcome.

Unsalted fries: I understand the idea of preserving the crispiness, but for takeout, it would be important to specify this. I ended up eating unsalted fries on the road, which made them very bland.
The steak wasn't salted either: for me, the lack of seasoning (both fries and meat) remains the biggest drawback.
The "mitraillette" (a type of sandwich) consisted only of bread and meat, without any raw vegetables. Apparently, this is possible upon request, but without information, it's impossible to know.
The bread was good, however.
We also took the time to ask how we wanted our steak cooked (we asked for it rare), but in the end, it was more like medium-rare.
As for the sauce, it was barely noticeable.
I'm giving it 3 stars because the service is truly impeccable, and you can feel a genuine desire to do well.
Perhaps I'll try it again in a while.
