La Ganotte is a true institution in Banyuls-sur-Mer! I've been going there since I was a child. From Jacky's time, then Moïse and Françoise's, and now Cédric's, the spirit has always remained the same: quality, conviviality, and kindness. Everything is excellent. The famous croque-monsieur are simply divine, but honestly, the entire menu is worth the trip! Admittedly, the wait can sometimes be a little long, but that's the price of success. When you see the crowds and the loyalty of the customers, you quickly understand why. Beyond the quality of the food, it's the welcome that truly makes the difference. You'll find kindness, humanity, generosity, and that family atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Thank you to the entire team for existing and keeping this essential Banyuls-sur-Mer landmark alive for generations.

A must-visit when in Banyuls! Great selection, a lovely view of the port, and an exceptional chef who always has a kind word for his customers.

Plenty of choice and great locations

Lunch yesterday: grilled squid served with grilled vegetables (thank you! Not always fries!!!). And a hanger steak with Banyuls sauce, cooked exactly as requested. Excellent value for money, thank you, keep up the good work.

I've been going there quite often for several years. The snack bar is very nice, and the server was too. A nice touch for pets: they get their own water bowls without having to ask! See you soon!

Great atmosphere, the chef had a great sense of humor, and the servers were excellent.

We ordered a takeaway meal as it was raining, as it has been for many years, and we were delighted; the service is always top-notch :-)
