A wonderful discovery! We had a delightful evening last night at La Gaudina in Bonnieux. The setting is truly magnificent, surrounded by nature, and we were even lucky enough to witness a beautiful sunset. All the dishes are prepared with great care, flavor, and generosity, in the true spirit of Provençal cuisine. A wonderful experience that we will gladly repeat! Special mention also goes to the wine list, which is particularly extensive, with a huge selection of carefully chosen wines. 🍷 Wine lovers will certainly find something to their liking. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful time savoring authentic cuisine in an exceptional setting. We will definitely be back!

Disappointed considering the price. The setting is fun: a kitchen setup around a house, like a housing development, rustic, with a festive, lantern-lit feel, featuring good quality equipment and efficient, fast service. Everything is homemade. Their motto displayed on a wall is "saucing isn't cheating." Meh. But following the actual quote, the sea bream (it's a shame they didn't use one from our region) was swimming in a sauce that wasn't thickened. The rest was good. However, a glass of local wine for €9? No, I disagree. Their crème brûlée was a flan, not a crème brûlée (no egg whites, please). The "minute tiramisu": the egg whites weren't set properly, so it was just whipped mascarpone cream. In short: it displays a Michelin sign (not awarded), buys other advertisements in fashion magazines (and that's how we came), aims for bistronomy (displays the "rascal" menu) but where is the rascality? Apart from the pâté en croûte served hot, where is the rascality of the bar? I would have liked it to be less expensive (the sea bream is €28).

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The chic, casual atmosphere is incredibly charming, offering a setting that is both welcoming, warm, and very refined. The food is simply extraordinary: dishes as beautiful as they are delicious, prepared with passion using top-quality ingredients. To top it all off, the service is outstanding: the staff is incredibly kind, responsive, and truly attentive from beginning to end. A real gem that we wholeheartedly recommend!

The fish stew, sea urchins, rib-eye steak with winter vegetables, etc., were delicious! The pastries are a real bonus... Kudos to the young pastry chef for the finesse of his desserts and the impeccable presentation. We tried lunch, dinner, and brunch.... We can't wait to return on our next trip to the region. The opening of "La Canaille" is a fun new concept that complements the existing offerings; this restaurant is definitely a must-visit! See you soon.

A very warm welcome, friendly staff, and a beautiful setting. We opted for the tasting menu at €59 per person, which consisted of five courses: amuse-bouche, starter, two main courses, and dessert. Be warned, this is a gourmet experience and not recommended for those who don't appreciate fine food (not for epicureans).
