Le Carillon sur Goult

What a pleasure it is to return each year to discover the new suggestions on the short menu and the warm welcome of the owner. Beautifully presented dishes, careful presentation, tender meat (veal in this case), accompanied by a perfectly balanced sauce reduction, a crispy apricot dessert, and an excellent glass of champagne to start the meal.

Le Carillon is a fantastic, authentic restaurant run primarily by a husband and wife team who are welcoming, cordial and professional. Where both food and service are fantastic. Our family rented a mas in Oppede Le Vieux for part of April and all of May. We visited Le Carillon three times - each with different friends or family members. Resulting in universal enjoyment and happiness. The cuisine is high quality and expertly prepared, and service is at the same time friendly and professional. In our experience the dessert "Le Chocolat" was voted best all time by our crew. It's worth going just for that, but the menu is excellent throughout and the prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back next year. ps: Goult is a charming town with far fewer tourists than other Luberon villages.....

One of the better places for a delicious dinner with dishes from refined French cuisine. Super friendly, polite, and skilled service. Interesting wine list with reasonable prices. We will definitely be back here.

Both times we’ve been here for lunch have been the highlight of our dining experience in Provence. The food, wine, and hospitality are all top notch and served on a sweet little terrace.
