We had lunch at La Gélinotte after two days of hiking. Very good food in a beautiful setting. Very pleasant service.

A superb afternoon at this open-air café. Excellent and inexpensive local beer; you feel right at home. The waitress was very friendly. Looking forward to seeing you again!

La Gélinotte is truly a highly recommended establishment with a small menu that's 100% homemade, organic, and locally sourced whenever possible. The menu was created taking into account any allergies mentioned in advance by phone when making the reservation. The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food.

We took a short break for some homemade iced tea which was excellent!!! No idea what it was, but it was delicious!! The service was also very friendly ☺️

The refuge contributes greatly to the wonderful atmosphere around Lake Freydières! Delicious homemade cakes and drinks, themed evenings (circus, shows), books and board games to borrow… A truly great time by the lake!
