La Gentilhommière sur Saint-Andre-Les-Vergers

I don't entirely agree with the Petit Futé guide, because for me the atmosphere and the place are outdated and desperately need a refresh! The music is barely audible, almost as if to drown out the neighboring tables...!! The food is good and tastefully presented. Unfortunately, something's missing for me...??

My son, my wife, and I had dinner at La Gentilhommière. The food was impeccable and the service attentive. The atmosphere was intimate but family-friendly. However, I gave it 4 stars because we had a problem with payment. The ANCV website states that the restaurant accepts both paper and digital ANCV vouchers. The manager I spoke to on the phone confirmed this and said he had already processed a payment using digital vouchers. However, when I expressed my wish to pay on-site, I was repeatedly told that it wasn't possible. I was therefore forced to turn around and use my credit card. It would be wise to remove the "ANCV CONNECT" mention from the ANCV website or to train your staff on this payment method.

Hello, we have known this establishment for many years and have seen several owners come and go, and it has always been perfect. Yesterday we returned to discover the change of ownership, and what a wonderful surprise! The welcome and service were impeccable, and congratulations to the chef for a new cuisine that is rarely encountered. The flavor combinations are very surprising, sometimes daring, but always exceptional and perfectly balanced with finesse. Great work goes into the beautifully presented dishes. The wines are also very well selected. So thank you to the team at La Gentilhommière, and of course, I recommend that everyone come and experience your establishment.

An absolutely remarkable gastronomic experience at La Gentilhommière in Troyes. From appetizer to dessert, each dish was a true delight for the eyes and the palate. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the cooking perfectly executed, and the flavors delicately balanced. The sublime asparagus starter, the melt-in-your-mouth meat accompanied by perfectly prepared vegetables, and then the dessert, as refined as it was indulgent, made this meal an exceptional moment. A huge thank you to the Chef and his entire team for their talent, passion, and attention to detail. Each dish demonstrated genuine expertise and a sincere love of gastronomy. Thank you also to the entire team for their warm welcome and professionalism. We had a perfect evening and will cherish wonderful memories of this restaurant, which we recommend without hesitation. A very nice place, the menu changes regularly, which offers a variety of options. The chef is excellent, and the service is discreet and efficient! I highly recommend it.

The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Following a last-minute booking for 30 people in a challenging situation, they were very flexible and kind, ensuring everything went as smoothly as possible. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, from the appetizers to the dessert, all for a perfectly reasonable price. A huge thank you!

We hadn't eaten so well in ages. Everything was incredible: from the service to the presentation, we had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely divine!! And as a bonus, there was a little candle on my dessert for my birthday :) I highly recommend it!
