They were incredibly attentive and even accommodated my gluten intolerance, even though we hadn't made a reservation. So, kudos to the chef and his team, to the woman who tends the vegetable garden and ensures such high-quality cuisine, and kudos to the baker because the sourdough bread is simply divine and so rare in restaurants. The prices are very reasonable; it's excellent value for money. And the service is outstanding; you feel right at home. The waiters and waitresses are professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend it!

26/08/2026: The bibimbap is excellent, every dish is perfect. The servers are very friendly and the service is truly warm. For several years now, I've regularly invited friends here. The only downside is that you sometimes have to wait a long time for your food, and you're often turned away because it's too full and there are no more seats. In recent years, they were only open four days a week and often closed for holidays. I highly recommend booking by phone in advance; otherwise, it's difficult to get a chance to eat these delicious dishes. It's the best restaurant in Troyes, and I highly recommend everyone try their food!

Chez Axelle is a superb, tranquil spot where the husband (?) warmly welcomes and serves with genuine enthusiasm while his wife is busy in the kitchen, ensuring a generous and satisfying meal. Please be sure to make a brunch reservation, especially on Sundays, as it's essential to enjoy the service. Thank you again, it was DELICIOUS. We'll be back!!!

The andouillette was heavily over salted and more akin to eating intestine (which I have). Even the crème brûlée was under brûléed and not firm enough. Glass of Cote du Rhone- not great. Stick to the burgers. Probably safer.

06/09/2026: Super relaxed, even with children and a small group of up to 10 people. The prices are great! There are only about 12 tables in total, and the service is pleasantly unfussy. We don't speak French, and the server only spoke French, but communication was still very easy and without any problems. We'd love to come back again!

03/08/2026: August 3, 2026 Restaurant Le Moine Gourmand is a truly delightful surprise. I take my hat off to the owner who manages everything, from the kitchen to the dining room, with real skill. The dishes are excellent, the desserts are well-made, and all at a very reasonable price. You can feel the hard work and the desire to do things well, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Troyes; it's a simple, efficient, and welcoming place.

17/08/2026: We were a group of 13, who stumbled upon this place for a dinner with friends, and we were swept away to a truly memorable evening at the guinguette. Everything was perfect: a wonderful welcome, a delicious and very affordable meal, a warm atmosphere, and fantastic entertainment and a great singer. It was hard to leave the dance floor, we had so much fun! Dinner shows are regularly organized. We will definitely be back! ❤️
