For me one of the best restaurants in the Alps although are probably quite a few. Excellent food and good value. Friendly service and lovely setting.

A very pleasant surprise: impressively generous portions. I had the pot-au-feu; a pure delight (especially the perfectly cooked marrow bone!).

A lovely spot for a meal or a drink on the terrace. The prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. The service was excellent, and the waiters were friendly.

Excellent pizzas, 5/5. However, a 40-minute wait for a table for four, plus another 40-minute wait for my pizza. Apparently, the oven can only cook three pizzas at a time. A good place, but it's best to arrive before noon during school holidays...

06/03/2026: We had an excellent week in Oz, and especially at the café. The servers are pleasant. The owners are very friendly, and the food is good. The avocado burger is amazing.

L'Alpette - Chez Passoud

22/03/2026: My favourite meal we had on the mountain - I had an absolutely incredible omelette. Views were fantastic and it was some of the friendliest service we received during our trip. Well worth a visit!
21/03/2026: The food was decent, but it was better last year. The service was okay, though a bit disorganized. The cashier was very unpleasant. There are other, more welcoming restaurants nearby.
