What a place. Quiet little town, perfect for a few wines and incredible pizza after an afternoon exploring the Pont Du Gard. The atmosphere was perfect, lots of locals which is a great sign and good wines by the glass too! Perfect French wine bar!

A mixed experience. First, the cocktails are excellent. Everything is homemade. Second, the pizzas: the dough is very good, but unfortunately, they're too sparsely topped. For pizzas this expensive (€18), that's a real letdown. Finally, the service: the waitress and waiter who handle the drinks are lovely and super efficient. The one who takes the food orders is another story. A bit arrogant, very unhelpful when asked for details about the pizzas... As mentioned before, there are some very good things and some much less good things.

The setting for this place is gorgeous. Well worth the drive or bike ride. Check opening hours first as not open all the time.

Our favorite canteen 👌🏻 offers a menu that changes daily with healthy, local, high-quality, homemade products. Never disappointed! The location is ideal, even with children. The welcome is warm and friendly. The value for money is perfect, whether for a light snack or a large meal: we'll definitely be back! (Remember to book ahead, as this restaurant is very popular!)

La Bégude Saint Pierre

29/06/2026: Lovely hotel with a pool, nice room, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The air conditioning in our south-facing room wasn't working properly during the heatwave... luckily the night was cool because when we got back from dinner, the room was stiflingly hot. The hotel is just 2 minutes from the Pont du Gard, which is magnificent! Good breakfast in a beautiful and cool setting.
08/06/2026: Beautifully situated and ideal for our overnight stay. Easily accessible with secure parking. The room was very spacious and nicely furnished. It had air conditioning and was a good size. In the evening, we were rewarded with a delicious meal. It was especially appealing to me as it was vegetarian, and incredibly creative and absolutely delicious. I'd particularly like to mention my sleeping experience; the pillows are heavenly. Waking up without a headache is a rare occurrence. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and plentiful. Our conclusion: Definitely recommended. The staff is very courteous, helpful, and flexible. Simply enjoy. Thank you for the wonderful time.
