It's always a pleasure to have lunch at La Guinguette; we go very often and have never been disappointed. We appreciate the local produce used in the cooking; the dishes are creative, refined, and flavorful, with delicious homemade bread. We also receive excellent advice on wines, beers, and cocktails. The staff is welcoming and friendly. A big thank you to you all for accommodating my food intolerances. A must-visit restaurant in our beautiful Bourbre Valley.

A warm welcome awaited us in the Marmotte room. This room is spacious and tastefully decorated. The place is clean and the mattresses are comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again for family members. We highly recommend it.

This is the second time I've had the good idea to have lunch at La Guinguette. A very warm welcome and the food is always of good quality. I will gladly return.

To the armies of Michelin-starred restaurants and their rigid garrisons, I oppose the striking simplicity of La Guinguette and its gang. The bread is excellent, homemade. The water is fresh. The (extensive) wine selection is (very) well thought out. You can taste high-quality wines by the glass, rarely offered in this format except in Michelin-starred restaurants, at prices that cover the cost of the case. Wines are served at the ideal temperature, perfectly matched to the dishes, and with information about their origins. The service is efficient and friendly. Chatting with the waiter, waitress, and the owner is perfectly acceptable. The dishes are refined, thoughtful, fresh, and vibrant. The flavors are clean and straightforward. We are comfortably seated; the tables are wide and the space is pleasant. A country setting. Summer or winter. La Guinguette in Virieu is a model of fine dining. An excellent place to simply enjoy a good meal. Clearly, the team is happy to be doing their job.

What a welcoming place! I particularly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the cuisine made with local and seasonal produce, which was delicious and full of flavor. The setting, a mix of terrace and inviting interior, truly makes you want to return for a peaceful meal with family or friends. The service was attentive, and you can feel the dedication to the tradition of the "country bistro." A wonderful culinary experience in Isère!

We were delighted with our evening at the restaurant. The welcome was very warm, the decor and ambiance were simply magnificent, and the dishes were delicious, made with fresh ingredients. Summer evenings on the terrace must be incredible. Thank you for the evening. I highly recommend it.
