La Guinguette Auvergnate is a unique place of its kind, hanging on the banks of the Seine in a most improbable setting. Stuck behind the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges marshalling yard, we certainly don't come here by chance, or else we got lost... The cuisine at Guinguette Auvergnate is good, without being exceptional. The dishes offered are more in the traditional line. The service is simple and authentic, like the place. But what truly makes this place charming is its timeless atmosphere: we can't help but think of the scenes of Monet or Renoir who immortalized these taverns of Paris during the Belle Époque. The decor seems to tell this "little story", that of the balls and other parties which may have enlivened these places. An experience to live for all those looking for a moment of change outside of time and the tumult of Paris.

We had lunch this afternoon in this restaurant. We ate very well . The kitchen is good. The owner is very nice and friendly. The place is quiet. The water. We will come back.

Warm welcome from the boss. Family atmosphere, Very beautiful place with a view of the Seine for an event, with the possibility, on request, even at lunchtime, of musical entertainment. Our wedding was a great success.

Super endroit, authentique, France d’antan. On y mange très bien, et l’accueil y est chaleureux. Le patron sait recevoir. Jolie vue sur la Seine, avec fenêtres fleuries. Je recommande l’aligot, et le magret était très bon.

Of course, the atmosphere also depends on you but the boss is great. Everything was top notch.

Good music. On the other hand, the service is quite long and the menus are not really abundant.
