Tonight was my first visit to Restaurant Jean, but it certainly won't be my last.
As someone with a peanut allergy, I've never been so pampered in my life: as soon as I mentioned the possibility of peanut oil in the fries, Émilie immediately connected it to the appetizer I wanted, unlike in most restaurants. My flank steak was then specially cooked over a wood fire, and they even emptied the peanut oil tank to replace it with sunflower oil so they could make me fries.
Between the Sicilian olive trees, a varied playlist, and Patrick, the restaurant's atmosphere is simply magical. I WANT an Émilie in every restaurant I visit, and I highly recommend the Black Angus flank steak!
