We had a wonderful, mouth-watering evening. For our son's birthday and at our request, we were kindly welcomed by the manager and very well placed on the terrace with a lovely view of the Saône. After a charcuterie board to start, we opted for the frog legs (the best we have eaten without a doubt). The decoration is in keeping with the guinguette spirit. The service was very pleasant throughout the evening and the prices were very reasonable. We are really delighted with our little stopover and thank the manager again for the charming attention (birthday song/candle) without forgetting the kitchen team who prepare good dishes with fresh and local products which come directly from the "water to the mouth.”
We spent a pleasant time on the terrace on the banks of the Saône enjoying homemade dishes. From starters to desserts everything was excellent.
I advise
The restaurant is ideally located on the banks of the Saône.
It is a former military building (supply port) so very raw and concrete but that gives a certain charm to the place.
The tables are on a raised terrace exposed to the fresh wind of the Saône, ideal in summer after a bike tour.
The welcome is simple and friendly; no frills. The food is like the service, therefore invigorating and relatively accessible.
The dishes are mainly based on Riviere fish: fried Ablettes, catfish fish and chips, etc.
It’s a nice place that seems to have dancing evenings.
In terms of decoration, it lacks a little layout but it’s still a good address!
We’ve just spent a lovely two days at the mooring here. The staff have been incredibly friendly, the fish and chips were amazing and the house red wine was delicious. They found us a table when we just wanted a drink, and all the other tables were set for dining and we even received a wave off this morning as we left.
